The Popescu Group aims to accelerate discovery in organic synthesis and catalysis by bridging experiment and computation. Guided by the principles of physical organic chemistry, we integrate organic synthesis, quantum mechanical modelling, and data science to develop physics-informed models that enable predictive design of reaction conditions and catalytic systems​​​
